Keynote: Tiffany Brooks

Tiffany Brooks is widely know for her work on HGTV and the winning of  "HGTV Design Star" Season 8.  She is currently the host and designer of the network's newest show "HGTV Smart Home Giveaway".  Tiffany started out in high-end residential property management and staging with over ten years in the industry.  After designing an award winning model home, she decided to focus solely on interior design.  Thus launching You and Your Decor in 2007.  Since that time, Tiffany has done residential projects and boutiques in cities across the country.

Since starting with HGTV she has been recognized as one of the Top 20 African American Interior Designers in the nation, made a dozens of media appearances, on television, web, and print.

Michel Boyd is the principal of Smith Boyd Interiors. In recent history, Boyd has participated in MODA's The South's Next Wave competition, designed rooms for ASA's 2014 Decorators' Shophouse, AH&L's Holiday House, and the W Atlanta Downtown, bedecked windows for Baker Furniture and designed a line of rugs for Verde Home.  Michel has been named one of the nation's Top 20 African American Interior Designers for 5 consecutive years, he has twice been nominated for ADAC's Southeast Designers of the Year.  Boyd was also named one of Atlanta Homes and Lifestyle magazines's Top 10 Tastemakers under 40.  Boyd's work can currently be seen in the 2015 Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Showhouse.  Smith Boyd Interiors


Dionne Gadsden

Interior designer and award-winning graphic designer Dionne Gadsden, Allied ASID is known for her energetic engagement in deign education and advocacy.  Dionne is passionate about all things design, color and the utilization of color in design.  An honor graduate of The Art Institute of Charleston, Dionne also studied Biology/Psychology at Columbia University and spent nine years as a combat medic in the US Army/Army Reserves.  She has held positions at the internationally renowned architectural firm, Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM).  Currently Dionne manages Benjamin Moore & Co.'s flagship New York Designer Showroom in the acclaimed Decoration & Design Building (D&D).


Joan Goodwin

Joan Goodwin is an experienced interior designer who brings the table a combination of bold, chic, and urban pizzazz with an international flair. She has over 21 years of intrinsic experience and has operated her own interior design firm, Verandah Interiors.  Joan has been featured in many regional and national magazines including Columbia Metropolitan, Bon Appetite, Uptown Magazine, Columbia Living Magazine and Architectural Digest.


Linda Allen

Linda Allen of Linda Allen Design is visionary interior and lighting designer.  Her lighting collection "Live.Anywhere. is elegant and multifunctional. Her work has been featured on network design shows and her lighting has been highlighted in National Publications including LUXE Interiors+Design, Better Homes and Gardens, Interiors, Essence, LA Times and The Robb Report.


Lorna Gross-Bryant

Lorna Gross-Bryant  After nearly a decade in the field, Lorna Gross-Bryant has become one of the top "Go-to" designers for clients seeking an individualized, curated approach.  She is NCIDQ certified and has won numerous awards for her exceptional design.  Lorna was chose one of DC's top designers and also received a 2013 Designers Choice Award.  Lorna participates charity show houses and is very passionate about empowering women and children.  She has been featured in multiple periodicals and media outlets.


Robin Wilson

Robin Wilson  is an interior designer, business woman and expert on healthy homes.   Her credibility and understanding  of the issues that consumers face on a daily basis to furnish their living space is emphasized in her new book "Clean Design: Wellness for your lifestyle (Greenleaf, 2015)  Retailers such as Bed, Bath and Beyond, carry the Robin Wilson Home product line of licensed bedding and bath products.
